Berkhamsted round off title winning season with two figure victory.
Birdsall Services have decided to focus upon supporting charities and organisations which are local in our community and close to your hearts. Our decision to support Berkhamsted football club was to help the club retain their grounds and keep playing football.
Saturday 1st of May. Berkhamsted vs Caddington. Kick off at 3:00pm
A lively crowd of well over a hundred came to watch the final of division two witnessed at Broadwater this afternoon. Berkhamsted played a tremendous game, with visitors Caddington on the receiving of a ten goal drubbing that included two hatricks.
FINAL SCORE 10 - 1 WIN TO BERKHAMSTED FC
Lawence Bunker excelled up front for Berkhamsted, scoring a total of five goals across the course of the game, and substitute Steve Boad took just 23 minutes to score three. Berkhamsted’s top scorer for the season, James Armstrong netted two.
After the game league officials presented Berkhamsted with the Division Two trophy to great applause. Manager Micky Vipond expressed his gratitude to the fans, who have played an integral part in Berkhamsted’s achievements.
