BFI secure £45m funding

Birdsall have sent a letter of congratulations to the BFI for securing £45m of funding from the Government for a new state-of-the-art film centre.

The BFI have been working towards this goal for over a decade.

The BFI plan to build an £166m new film centre on land adjacent to the London Eye.

With the Government commitment the BFI can now proceed with the project whilst they secure the rest of the funds. The plan is to complete and open the new film centre in 2015.
