Birdsall Summer BBQ & Family Fun Day

This year's summer BBQ took place in St. Albans at Verulamium Park and the Rose & Crown Public House on the 3rd of July.

The day started with a friendly and not at all competitive game of rounder's. There is still some confusion over who the winning team was, but I think the consensus was that Linda’s team were crowded the winners.

With everyone hungry and thirsty we headed back to the Rose & Crown where we were greeted with a feast,  BBQ chicken kebabs, burgers, sausages, salads and a cold pint or two.

With everyone fed and watered it was time for the evening entertainment as Steph our Marketing Coordinator emerged from the pub dressed as a ladybird to have later comments from a little boy of “mummy, looks it’s a nasty fly”.

A great day was had by all and it was really nice to meet everyone’s friends and family. A big thank you for all of you who came and ensured that we had a great turnout and extremely enjoyable day.
