Company History

Birdsall Services Ltd is a family-owned company proud of its past but always looking to the future. We began trading as Birdsall Air Conditioning in 1975 under founder Barry Birdsall and soon attracted a client list including British Gas and HMV - both of whom were to remain customers for over two decades. In the mid-1980s, we expanded into the refrigeration industry with the acquisition of Richmond Refrigeration and regular projects from such clients as Barnet General Hospital and what is now the National Blood Service. We still serve both today.

With further expansion following by the 1990s - and with heating, ventilation and absorption added to our list of services - we amended our company name to Birdsall Services Ltd. Today, we remain a leader in the specialised field of absorption technology and continue to provide high quality design and installation and service and maintenance for clients throughout the UK. 

At the core of our service is the skill and knowledge of our engineers, many of whom have long experience in the industry working for major manufacturers such as York and Carrier. To their capabilities, we add a very high standard of customer service, competitive pricing on all projects, and a proactive approach to problem-solving that consistently delivers real added value to our clients. We comply with the latest regulations and training as guided by Health and Safety, CDM, HVAC specifications and ISO 9002.
