This year the Birdsall Ladies will be running both the Watford Race for Life on the 19th June 2011, and St Albans on the 17th July 2011. Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. 5th and 6th Auguest 2011 saw another successful Grand Prix at Crystal Palace , Birdsall Services 5 th Athletics Grand Prix. The Grand Prix started on the Friday with the weather holding out. This year's summer BBQ took place in St. Albans at Verulamium Park and the Rose & Crown Public House on the 3rd of July. The day started with a friendly and not at all competitive game of rounder's.
